Your friends Skylar and Savannah recently had a princess tea party. You had so much fun.
You had your first ear infection in April. It was so incredibly sad. We also learned that you're allergic to the medicine that doctors use to treat it (penicillin). It made you break out in this horrible rash. You didn't seem to mind much though..
You love playing in the water and going to the pool. And summer definitely looks great on you!
Obviously it's on the side of my head mama!! We've recently been trying to teach you where your nose, ears, eyes and chin are. I think we should have really gotten one down before trying to teach you all of them! That's okay though, we'll get there. Until then, we get the biggest kick of of this...
I realized after sneaking up on you and taking this next video that you had a nice little (and by little I really mean big) surprise in your diaper for me. So that's probably the real reason why you were dancing. After all, you are your father's child ;)
(1) You love going on walks. You love just being outside period. Now that the weather has warmed up a bit, we've been trying to take you out as much as possible.
(2) You love picking up rocks. It's the cutest thing ever. You pick up enough so that each hand is full and then when you attempt to squeeze just one more in and they all fall out, you get slightly frustrated but insist on figuring out a way to fit them ALL in your hands. Needless to say, we don't get very far...
(3) You love to dance. Neither Daddy or I are big into dancing so I'm really not sure where you got these moves from....
(4) You love to "help." I tiptoe to the kitchen but it doesn't matter how quiet I am, you instinctively know that the dishwasher door is open and you must come assist me. So I typically unload the sharp and glass stuff first, and as quickly as possible and then let you take care of the rest. And by take care of, I mean that I let you move it from the dishwasher to the floor piece by piece and then once the kitchen looks like a tornado just went through, you promptly excuse yourself. I wouldn't trade this routine for the world :)
(5) You love you make messes. Oh do you ever. You are immediately drawn to anything that has something that can be unpacked or unloaded. I'm still trying to hunt down the person that showed you that the silver case has tons of poker chips in it...
In other breaking news, we've been putting you on the potty chair lately. Just this last week you went #1 on the potty chair for the very first time!!! Although I know you're not ready to potty train yet, I couldn't help but want to shout it from the rooftops! No toilet pictures here but do remember that I have them, lots of them and I will keep them handy for future use. ;)
You've recently learned a neat new trick all on your own. You were sitting next to door one day as the dogs were on the other side. Apparently you noticed that they pant a lot and you started imitating them. So now when we ask you what a doggie says, you immediately start panting. Makes me giggle every time!
You are definitely my little social butterfly. You are such an outgoing child. You'll happily go to just about anyone. Although it's hard for me to decide what I love most about you, that fact ranks pretty high on my list. :)
