There's a first time for everything

Hello my sweet girl,

We've got some catching up to do! You are changing so much and starting to do some really neat things, like smiling at Mama and Daddy! Although I think you've accidently smiled a couple of times, we've finally got you to smile at us on purpose when we make all those silly faces at you. See...

It absolutely melts my heart when you smile.

You have a toy that you play with when you lay on the floor. You love seeing yourself in the mirror, swinging at the things that are hanging above you and kicking the piano at your feet as it plays music.

I have a confession to make. Last week Daddy and I left you with Grammy for a couple of hours while we went to a basketball game.  We got there a little early so we sat in the car and watched this video over and over, I'm guess about 15 times. We just love all the noises you're making and how engaged you are at such a young age. You're going to be so smart :)

Here you are again with that toy. Your dog Bella just loves watching you.

You're a very funny sleeper. You have a new favorite position that you almost always fall asleep in. You love to sit on our knees, on your bottom facing us as we bounce you up and down. Your neck is already very strong but we have to support it because you like to bounce pretty fast!  Here you are, all conked out. We still can't believe you like sitting like this; It seems so uncomfortable!

You love taking baths. Right now you're still small enough to put in the kitchen sink. Here you are after a bath, just chilling out. You can't see it here but we have a little space heater we set near the sink so that you don't get chilly. You're not spoiled at all ;)

I thought you looked so cute here in your little dress and headband. You're really starting to fill out. You're even getting some rolls on your arms and legs. Those chubby cheeks, I just can't stop kissing them!

On a side note, Mama felt like a rock star today because I squeezed into the jeans I wore before I was pregnant with you. I still have a little ways to go but I owe it all to you. You've got me running around the house like a maniac, and I'm loving every minute of it :)
